He's really got to vary it a bit, keepers have the measure of him now, they know that he will try to side foot it to their left. He needs to be firing the odd one to the keepers right and to really put the laces through some others. The one that really disappointed me last night was when Harrison put in that fabulous cross along the six yard line and he he was on his back foot, nowhere near it. Crosses like that should be meat and drink to a striker.

He's a terrible striker mate that has just come out of his purple patch. I'd definitely still be looking at moving him on in the summer.

How quickly the star fades at Everton.
He's gone from a life saving superstar being voted for as player of the month, into a useless "galoot," all in the same week.
If you really put some thought into it, he's gone from playing 5 or 10 mins a week for the last 2 seasons, into playing every minute of every game on his own up front, and being told to press the oppositions 4 defenders, also being Everton, he has to chase down every long punt and live with Hairrison and Limpstrom.
He's exceeded expectations of him this season, so he gets a pass from me.
I'd like a more mobile, clinical finisher next season though (doesn't everybody)

Dare I say it but he was lucky with that point blank goal against Utd? the one where he hit it into the ground in the six yard box? almost fluffed it

I think he is a decent squad man, the kind of player you would bring on for the last half hour in. Good team, when a tiring defence has to put up with his chaos theory style of togger. A good striker buries at least one of the last five clear cut chances he has missed. So not hating on him. But we do need a better starting striker.

He didn’t miss 4 sitters in a row without scoring.

No … but we are talking about the top prem scorer of all time here

He has had 4 decent chances … I wouldn’t call them sitters

He’s made the keeper pull off decent saves on 3 of the 4

If he keeps doing what he’s doing he will slot again and I think he will end up with 10 goals if he stays fit
