We may have to make do in a few positions next season as we rebuild, he's make a very good case for striker not being a priority

A striker is, and should remain, a top priority regardless of how well Beto is doing. The time will return where he can't hit a cows arse with a banjo again. Nice to enjoy for now, but we need better, we need to improve in every area. This more than most.

Depends on the circumstances I suppose, we don't yet know what players will be staying, what options or funds will be available. It's not a one window overhaul

We will need a striker, can't see DCL staying , not sure we will sign Broja due to his injury record.
I personally wouldn't buy him for that very reason and he wouldn't be that cheap.
The rest are kids honestly think we need two in.

We don't know if Beto is now showing us the player he really is or if he is a player in a purple patch that may not be repeated.

Those who watch him in training every day will probably have an opinion on that.

What is certain is that whatever we paid for him would now be recouped in full in the event of a sale and possibly a profit on top of that.

Remarkable the change in little over a month when he was being sold for whatever we could get.

You would wonder what SD is thinking about Beto and the Everton team in general now ?
