2024/25 Beto

I know think he'll get a chance with Dom, think we'll be lucky to see him before the seasons out. Be nice if Chermiti and Broja could get themselves back asap to help Beto though

If Beto keeps scoring, it's going to be very difficult to drop him.
Luckily we dont have many 2 games weeks after this 1, so he will get a rest.

But we need options up there for sure.

Yep, got a break next weekend then there's another one end of March for 2 weeks. Hopefully by the time April comes around we've got the likes of Chermiti, Broja, Mcneil back and (prays) Ndiaye. Really give the run in a good go and finish as high as possible and piss on the rs parade would be nice as well by stuffing them at the pit.

None of our Strikers were given the tools to succeed, everybody can now see that.

DCL was given the tools to succeed and he popped off, now Beto has a manager who sees his value, gives him the arm around the shoulder and hes popping off.

Whatever happens in the Summer, we need options up top and Beto has proven himself to be in that discussion.

I still think Moyes will rush to start DCL or Broja when fit tho.
That might prove to be the case. We will know for certain if Dom manages to get back in the side.

I hope that Moyes doesn't rush to drop Beto who has been outstanding for him. Moyes usually has a bit more loyalty to those performing under him than that.

I dont see our manager leaving an Elite Striker on the bench Jake.

As ive said, its my hope that he considers playing them together, champagne football.

Also, thanks for all the likes, glad you agree with the points I made at the time.

Only a stupid man doesnt change his view based on new information and im many things, but I dont consider myself stupid.

But do stupid people know they are stupid? I always think about that, I mean I consider myself to have at least average intelligence, but then there are probably people with single digit IQs who think the same.

I'd love to see him score a towering header soon. He's scoring a few different types of goals which is great, but he's placed quite a few headed efforts directly at the keeper. For that, though, we'd need to be getting many more quality balls into the box and we generally don't do that.

Me neither which is why Beto has that spot as long as he likes it.

No worries on the likes pal. Got to keep you in the race with @Joey66.

Some of the guff in the Dom thread people wrote about Beto is glorious. There were none of these caveats about it being all down to Dyche. In fact I think you were the first to peddle what has not become the company line.

Our resident experts simply declared him not fit for purpose and continued to mock anyone who dared suggest Dom deserved to be dropped for not only a poor goal return but also poor effort on numerous occasions.

I am made up for Beto - but a certain Scottish striker only did score goals for us for a short spell - then fizzled out, Jelavich ... He is gaining confidence & puts 100 % in that will do me - our team is set up now under DM that suits him - Dyche played him & DCL all wrong ultra Defensive -

Rangers will suffer if Dyche goes there....

Pretty certain he weren’t Scottish, Joe.
