Player Valuation: £50m
He has his limitations, as do most of our players, but now we have a manager who plays to our strengths and it's benefitting a number of players. Couple this with his work rate and we've got a decent striker.

Where do you get a 10/15 goal striker to replace him? Goalscorers are priceless, as we know. (Maupay anyone?) Try and get another decent striker to give the lad some competition.

It's a shame we had to cash in on Simms and Dobbin, they would probably be fine pushing him in training and coming on as 10/15 minute subs to close out games

Is that Sherif kid no good? Seems a big unit, so he could come on for the last 15 to stop beto from burning out. Hopefully Chermitti back and available before the season is over too.
Evidently DM very impressed with him in training - @Eggs says it's impossible to play him, yet other teams used 17 yr old player upwards 10–15 minutes would have done no harm surly ?
As Maguire was moving forwards with their attacks as Beto had run himself into the ground after another very good performance of terrorising & scoring v defences....
It's ridiculous he wasn't given more opportunities earlier.

While he keeps scoring we can put with the rest of his game which is correctly described above as going from the sublime to the ridiculous in different parts of the game——so if some club offers us a ridiculous fee for him that would be sublime!

I couldn't understand it. It was the one Dyche decision I really never got. To me, it was clear he was a better finisher than DCL - his stats proved it. He'd score similar goals in fractions of the playing time. All we were being told was DCL was great holding the play up, etc. But as Carlo, the genius, rightly said: "DCL needs to be in the box." Holding it up was never on the great man's agenda.
Decent striker that scores. Criminal of Dyche to use him as a DCL clone and write him off. Dyche you should play to players strengths and only then can you reap rewards.
Wouldnt have mattered under Sean the football terrorist.
If we had them both fit then we would have options to mix it up. Moyes will look to play to both of their strengths. Think if we had DCL and N’Diaye fit and available then we win yesterday. DCL could have come off the bench when Beto was flagging a bit.

He thinks playing 40 yard balls to DCL was his strength, sorry but DCLs strength is get your wingers or FBs to the byline and get crosses in the box.
He basically had the whole squad out of form.

I hope there’s no talk of selling him. Why would we shoot ourselves in the foot like that? Beto is easily a 10 goal a season guy. That’s almost three years worth of goals from DCL. Almost 4-5 for Dwight. If anything, bring in another striker to challenge, play in a two up top scenario, or as a sub. Beto’s the sure thing right now.
Just checked the stats and players with 6 goals begins around 33. Only that many have scored more than Beto. There are a bunch who’ve hit 7, 8, and 9 goals. But if you look at who scored 6 like Beto, it’s loaded with players people have talked in here wishing we had someone like that. And keep in mind, all those other players have started 26 games. Beto only got his chance when Dom pulled his hamstrings.
