Best XI under Moyes?

In terms of how they performed under Moyes, in a specific position:

Martyn
Hibbert Jagielka Lescott Baines
Arteta Fellaini Gravesen Pienaar
Cahill
Yakubu

Coleman I heart massively but he's more promise than past achievement at the moment. Hibbert gets the nod, but we've never had a proper quality RB during Moyes' tenure. Jags and Lescott were at one point the best or 2nd best CB pairing in the league. I heart Distin massively but I can't ignore Lescott's performances at his peak. Baines is Baines.

Arteta was ace on the right for ages, and seeing as we've had so few good right mids/wingers I'd have him there. Mirallas is ace but then he's played about 12 minutes of football for us. Fellaini and Gravesen... Fellaini obviously, but Tommy at his peak was an absolute machine. Pienaar is a shoe-in.

Cahill again, a shoe-in and striker wise no one has surpassed Ayegbeni Yakubu circa 07/08. He was glorious.

ROONEY?!?!?!

ROONEY?!?!?!

Rooney was about 12 when he played for us. His performances didn't match that Yak season or Cahill in his pomp. Clearly he's done his best stuff at United, as that's where he's spent pretty much all of his career.

This. I'd take Neville at his best at full back though.
(form)

Martyn (04-06)
Nev (06-09) - Jags (07-09 & now) - Lescott (06-09) - Baines (08-now)
Arteta (06-11) - Fellaini (2010 - now) - Gravesen (02-04) - Pienaar (now)
Cahill (04-10)
Rooney (02-04)

Bench:
Howard
Hibbo/Unsworth/Coleman (can't decide like)
Osman
Gibbo
Kev
Jelly
Yak

I cry to this day why we didn't keep Rooney, him and Cahill in the 04-05 season = league winners.

Can't believe I'm not putting Cahill in that side, when he's my favourite Everton player of the last almost 20 years, but Rooney is one of the few truly world class players we've had Moyes's time. That XI is just a "best overall" one... if it was "best for us", Cahill would take Rooney's place.

I'd take Jelavic over a fit Yakubu because at least when Jela isn't scoring, he still works hard. Yakubu was deadly when scoring, but dead weight when not.
