Best seat in the house?

Yeah, I should have mentioned that too. Close to the centre circle and front as possible.

the restricted view in the upper bullens is not great, but by no means the worst restricted view at goodison.

The worst restricted view has to be the back 4/5 rows along the whole lower bullens.

I have missed derbies because the only seats left where the back 4/5 seats of the lower bullens and I would have more joy watching the game through the shutters over the window of currys

The view from the dug out, especially Moyes view on the front row, is not good at all.

I have sat down there in the family enclosure, you want to be on the back row of the dug out seats or back row of the family enclosure.

Im in row D so not to near the pitch. in the cup games ill be moving around the ground to find that perfect seat

I'm a fan of Upper Bullens myself. As close to the centre circle as you can get.

UB4 is the block on the halfway line, i'd recommend rows A-G as further back risks a post in your way. UB3 and UB5 are spot on too, infact, anywhere in the Upper Bullens near the front is quality - UB6 attaches to the Gwladys Street but is past the touchline so you're on a diagonal to the pitch.

Really? I've heard similar stories about restricted views before but I had no idea they were bad enough to miss a derby.

I sat in the upper bullens last year.. right on the half way line, the view was fantastic but there was no atmosphere there whatsoever. Personally I prefer it in the upper gwladys, a few of my mates have season tickets up there in the corner where the upper bullens meets the gwlady.... i love it there.

3 seats available without restricted views in the middle of UB4 A-G. If we are going to have the season I suspect we are I'd better snap one up quick as next season they'll sell out very quickly! I'm now my own boss and it'll be well worth it even if I can only go to a few games.

My personal favourite is the Paddock (PK3), as you are more or less dead on with the centre of the pitch, but not the front row, as I find the view of the far touchline is slightly obscured.

I've always thought the Gwladys had the best atmosphere, but the Pak End being the most modern part of the ground has the best facilities.

When I went to the City game last season I was near the back of Lower Gladwys where it meets Lower Bullens. You're right about the atmosphere there but I'm quite happy to just watch the game anywhere there is a good view. I'm sure the noise is loud enough in the the middle of LB when we score!

back of lower bullens is hilariously bad

Kid you not, I have just been talking to my bro in law that I want to get a season ticket.
I am just about to start a new job and do NOT have to work on Saturdays anymore :)
Some of you may be aware that I have been working at asda and lucky to get a day off a week!

So thanks for all the advice given to Everton1963. Might get a ticket UB sitting next to him!

Got my first day on Weds at new job, then I can make plans once I know rotas... Happy Days!
