Best Player of '09..???

Right then, it's nearl 2010 and we'v had a very indifferent year. Finishing 5th last season an reaching an F.A cup final. And we'v really struggled this season...

So then....

Who do you think has been Everton's best player over the last calander year..???

Their's been a lot of injurys so this should be intresting.

With Howard & Saha right behind!!!

We had this last week, and most went for Saha.
I think Fellaini has been our best all round performer, but not sure how Howard can be any where near.

Id go with Howard due to the fact he has played the whole year!

But, had he not been injured and carried on his top top form then would without a doubt gone for Jagielka.

1. Saha, because without him we have nobody who can consistently score goals, still waiting for Yak to find some form.
2. Neville, not only for his contributions on the pitch, but for his continued commitment to the cause off the field in the face of long-term injury. (yeah ok, slightly goes against 'best player of '09, but whatchoo gonna do about it?)
3. I really have to put Arteta here, even though he only really had a few good months. He pretty much single-handedly got me more excited about Everton than I had been since 2004, and watching him get injured was probably the worst moment of the entire year.

1. Saha - it isn't even close. I really want to hate Man Utd but after Sir Alex gift wrapped both Saha and the FA Cup Semi to us I'm having a hard time doing that.

2. Peanut - More often than not supplies a decent attack even after 1/2 the squad left most of their body parts on the pitch this year.

3. Neville - don't think its a considence that we had an extended bad run of form with him out. Moyes always mentions Neville as his best signing so I'm sure that we still don't know the full extent of his impact on the club. Classiest player in football. He's going to manage us someday and that won't be a bad thing.
