Not sure Richie prefers playing on the left over down the middle, pretty sure he’s said previously he’s rather be CF like he is for Brazil, but the form DCL was in he was never going to get a look in. Would be interesting to see Bernard and Digne combining on the left tonight with Richie CF.
(NB personally think he suits us better on the left due to his all round contribution, just suspect he’d rather be scoring goals than worrying about tracking an opposing full back.)

And Iwobi and Siggurdson. So...that's the whole midfield.

The point was that he's a good little player. Just the fact his wages are ridiculous that I don't think many wouldn't mind him a squad player if that wasn't the case.

Sigurddsson isn’t good enough either. Iwobi hasn’t set the world a light but has been better the last 6/7 games and I would rather him
In the team or off the bench than Bernard.

And this is the issue of him being a squad player. We get a few bad injuries and he’s forced to play 10/15 games on the bounce, that’s a huge problem for us. We all know we haven’t got quality back up and hopefully that will come over the next few windows. And the likes of Bernard, sigurddsson, Gomes, delph, Davies, Tosun, and a few others need to be moved on.
 

I do not think he will hang around. His pride should tell him he is not coping in this league. there are other European leagues he would do OK in with his level of skills and physicality. Pity, but there you are.
 
I like Bernardbut unfortunately his best position is also Richarlisons best position. Also don't think he's physical enough for the manager. So given all that I would sell we have Gordon as back up on left wing so we could invest any money we get in other more urgent positions like RB and RF/ST.
