Sounds like bollix though, we'll withdraw the bid if tomori is available on loan apparently! Lol

Not really - the article spells out something that hasn't been discussed a lot here.

The window is still open between EPL and EFL clubs until Oct 16th.

So the point is, we have until Oct 5th to get an answer on Tomori loan, if that doesn't happen, then we will buy Godfrey.

But if Norwich accept the 'bid' today we say nah sorry you need to wait. Likely
 

IMO this is us trying to force Chelsea into a decision. Do they loan Tomori out for a year and let him play week in out-which I think he does- or does he play sparsely for them. Ideally, I'd have Tomori on loan over the Godfrey permanent buy.

Tomori wont be playing all the time for ua though.

If Chelsea want him to play loads of games he will goto Fulham on loan.
