Welcome back Wayne
After Arsenal scored did you think we'd get back into it....

For my part, I was in a pub, supremely confident we would get at least an equaliser.....

I felt gutted when they scored because we didn't deserve that, but i did feel we would go at them till the end and would have chances.

Honestly? No, I thought that was that. More for the inevitability of the narrative - "Everton play well but lose late on." BUT I had more faith under Bobby M than under Moyes that we'd at least create one good chance.

Never over with this current set up, so I still felt confident even when falling behind, but I would have put my foot through the tele had Giroud scored at the death!

Honestly, i sat there and thought 'this will only be our second defeat of the season - In December'. I think part of me is still kind of stuck in Davey Moyes' negative mindset. When would we ever go to Arsenal or United to win? Never. When would we go behind in a game away from home and then push to try and equalise then win? never.

So when we went behind here, with 10 mins to go, i thought it was curtains. But Bobby's the man, and we looked tremendous in that final 10 minutes, and although Arsenal nearly won it themselves, we carved out a few chances and nearly knicked it, and part of me thought, we will.

I won't lie I thought Arsenal would drop back and just hold onto the ball and I didn't like our chances of been able to break that down and score.

I didn't think we would.

I did think we'd have a good go however.

And we did... and equalised. It's been quite boss to be a blue lately.

Thing is they had worked really hard to get that goal so i thought they would do everything to try and stick, maybe they did, but its never over with Roberto

What a mental boost as well - if we even needed it - to concede so late at the league leaders yet still come back and deservedly equalise.

It would've been only natural to feel disappointed and dare I say sorry for themselves after conceding late after playing so well, but did we feel sorry for ourselves? Did we hell. No hard-luck story here, just a fully deserved result at the league leaders.
