Yes, 100%.

There's nothing in his office, next to Thelwell's that's stacked with work.

How can there be nothing in his office?

Se...se... Secret Basement?
It'd make sense, to create the perfect McMessi.

Maybe he mainly operates out of the coaches office or ‘on the grass’?
Perhaps he doesn’t agree with being locked away and keeping a door between him and the rest of the squad and management team.
The opposite of Mike Walker maybe (barring results!)
Says he only really uses it for meetings, so it’s not like he spends all day in there staring at the walls. Plus he’s a coach, Thewell and the analysis team do all the donkey work that would have packed out that office in Moyes days.

I guess people will interpret his empty office through the bias of their opinion of the guy.

For me, it suggests a lack of thought and a lack of interest in planning. For others more charitable, as you say it maybe suggests a preference for the hands-on.

Spoiler (I don't know how to do the spoiler button)

Interesting to hear on ep7 that some managers in the past have requested the pitch be wet all the time, just wondering if that's the reason why for the past 6 or 7 years all our passes seem to be under hit?

Enjoyed (if that's the right word) listening to thus so far. I've just listened to the episode with K Thelwell. He came across as a likeable chap however, if I were interviewing him for a job he wouldn't get it. Seems to know well what needs to bw done to improve- in fact the spent much of the interview chatting about this, like people on this site ir down the pub might. What I noticed though was that at no point did he seem to have or reveal any ideas about how he was going to achieve it. I was unimpressed and was left wondering how people get these (presumably) highly paid highly responsible roles. Just by chatting an interviewer to death? Or just sounding cleverer than the not so bright interviewer?

Yeah, I’d have preferred it if she’d presented the whole thing. It felt like they’d drafted Mark Chapman in because they didn’t think she could carry it herself - and I think that’s wrong.
I didnt mind his input, he mentions a few times having close everton connections

All in a decent listen. I don't get the same vibes about Dyche, I get the impression he finds the media rounds tedious so doesnt engage with vigour and plays the game.

Seamus just comes across as a lovely fella,

Yeah, I don't mind him - it's more the production decision. I think Giulia Bould did the work and deserved to present it - which doesn't mean I have an issue with Mark Chapman.

I can understand that perspective. It's a perspective I wish I had, to be honest. But the guy rubs me up the wrong way and I can't help that. The latest little irritant for me was his insistence that everyone (including Giulia, apparently) has to call him "gaffer." Sounds like something Paul Ince used to be rightly ridiculed for.

He says himself he's a Marmite manager. I agree with him there.

Indeed he does.

I'm up to the end of the "main" bit and I absolutely loved this. I've wanted to see or hear something like this for a while, and its actually turned out much better than the Netflix/Prime type ones

Looking forward to getting stuck into the interview episodes too
