Barry Horne - Not the man for the job...

Today he just couldn't wait to criticise Yakubu and Piennar. Even going as far as saying that Piennar was fortunate to get the goal. Yet, he constantly defended the shiteness that was often emitted from the play of Kilbane and Davies. Ok Davies may be doing well now, but he was bollocks at Everton yet Horne constantly backed them all the way. Getting quite vocal at times.

Personally I don't think Barry Horne was a good player, he was gash before he scored that goal against a keeper who through the game, and then if it was for the brilliance that was Joe Parkinson, Horne would not have been celebrated as much as he was. So maybe that is where he is coming from, defending the crap because that's largely what he was.

Well back to the game, I was unhappy with the way Yakubu was dragged off with 30mins to go, I feel this guy needs minutes and goals, Anichebe isn't going to teach us anything. But then to bring VDM into the squad and then not play him when the game was pretty much won was a complete waste of an opportunity.

Just a couple of observations mate Barry Horne was not that good a player and I hate Tranmere too years ago I used to go and watch them on friday nights thinking that my admittance money would help the dire situation they were in any how We played them in a pre season friendly so we were sitting in this pub near the ground full of Evertonians next thing [Poor language removed] windows came crashing in all sorts of [Poor language removed] happened and there where guys with kids and women there the bastards I would never spend a penny on them again

Talking about commentaters on sky yesterday richard keys and hawthorn both said a couple of times boro missed a host of chances in the game and it was only 3,were they trying to say boro were all over us.

Well, I think Boro did look better then us in the first half. if it wasn't for Pienaar hassling Boateng on the ball that first chance would've flew past Howard. I definitely don't like the midfield defensive duo tactic, its the reason why they had so many chances I reckon.

The centre of our midfield was awful your right and a better team than boro,s would have taken us apart.
