I'll be honest here, the main worry i have isn't barca coming sniffing around our youth, lets face it they have the pick of spain in that regards, they arent gonna splash a lot of money on a young english player, theirs no track record to think they will do,

I understand and I share your personal point of view. The things that they make with any other clubs and their young talents it was only an example to say that we must be careful with that kind of things.

what worries me is that they havnt really settled on the long term replacement for pep their i dont think, and the more we are on their radar the more martinez will become on their radar, and thats the one job i think he'd struggle to turn down in footy, and who could blame him, he certainly plays in the barca style, carries himself with a huge amount of dignity and has respect amongst the game, is yound, ambitious and spanish, can see their being stories linking him if he keeps up the current revolution at us

There's a huge problem now in Barcelona. It happens that they have this new coach ''Tata Martino'' but sadly this man doesn't have a link with a sort of Barça people and this at Barça is very dangerous. Martino is a broken toy; like Sir Bobby Robson was. Robson made a very good job but he made a very big ''mistake'', he didn't have links with some influential people like Johan Cruyff. Martino couldn't work in a good way because since he landed here there was too many people above his head.

I don't know if Barça will want Martínez, but is true that I've met some Barça fans that like him. I love the actually Everton's football but I don't see them like a ''Barça style''. I mean, their coach is playing many times similar to Martínez but many people here say that isn't Barça style. He´s criticised in the cule media just because Valdes takes long throws regularly now. A fifty meter pass to Lukaku´s head would be considered as a profanation of their tiki-taka style. When I see Roberto Martínez I see a man that is done himself, step by step, learning so many things there, in UK. He has an english way to understand football; he's spaniard but he's made his best there. I've read so many interviews and his football culture is much more english than spanish. His style is obviously with a ''spanish influence'' that includes the taste for an attacking game; fast passing game; but not only Barça. In fact, there were Everton's matches this season wherein we had a more defensive style because it was the better way to get a better result. I think that's the best because a good coach has to do always what´s required to do in every moment, and sometimes staying behind the ball can be the right thing. If Roberto would make this at Barça it would be many people above his head. Only for these... I'm sure. I understand your worries, because they've broken a toy and they want another one, but I think that Roberto is not a man for them. And I hope so.

Well, we'd never be able to afford Deulofeu and he's destined for bigger things than us but it's great to have him here as an added attacking threat even if only in the short term. He's not blocking the development of any of our own youngsters, it allows us to focus funds on other priority areas and he's better than the sort of players that we'd be able to bring in otherwise.
Also, kids watching him will want to copy him

The best prospect at Barcelona B right now which is affordable by us is striker Tony Sarabia, who alternates between ''B'' and ''Juvenil'' teams. He ends contract this summer and doesn´t want to renew it, despite Barcelona´s efforts. He feels is very difficult to play at the first team in the near future and wants a team that gives more opportunities to play for young players. He would be elite player everywhere he goes in a year or two. He has several Paraguay senior caps, despite only being 17.

We should take a look to Sevilla´s academy, as well. Cheap and prolific. Sergio Ramos, Navas, Reyes or Fazio are clear examples. The Barça´s talents are a tad overrated now.

Jesé and Morata from Real Madrid are also interesting players that could be avaliable on loan.

Would love to see jese or morata.

Sanabria will be sold in the coming weeks, unfortunately...He is an outstanding striker and is rumoured to end up at Arsenal or Roma

Me thinks people just don't remember him...Plus, never doubt Pep

I saw every game he played dude, and a few for the B's. Youtube video is not so much the way to go. Loved having a young kid in the team and especially as he previously played for Sabadell where most of my mates are from....and he had an impact in assists and goals.

However in general I saw a very normal old-fashioned winger type of player, and he didn't seem to progress much beyond that. Pep was right in that he could be used and have an impact, but it doesn't necessarily mean he saw him as a future Barca star or a future top player in general.
