Barcelona B

They aren't having a good season.

It means nothing to me. They are playing kids against men.
Real Madrid Castilla went down with Negredo, Mata, Callejón, Granero, Borja Valero, Javi Garcia and a few other La Liga players.

Not convinced on this idea to be honest.

We should only be loaning players without any expectation of purchase in exceptional circumstances.

Adama and Lee are also players at Barca that we could take on loan to help develop like Ged.

Huge futures ahead of them at Barca, be delighted if we could get them here for a season in the near future.

Yeah they sure aren't and don't look so good from the few games I've seen but as said above they are playing a new mix of kids in there and they play against ok teams either just come down from La Liga or on their way back up.

Good to see Dongou score for the first team. Puyol looked delighted for him. I rate him. Would love to see an out and out striker make it from La Masia.

I'd be perfectly happy for an arrangement to be in place with Barca as I am sure that even without options to buy we would end up getting some permanent deals amongst the players we send back better than when they came.

Well, we'd never be able to afford Deulofeu and he's destined for bigger things than us but it's great to have him here as an added attacking threat even if only in the short term. He's not blocking the development of any of our own youngsters, it allows us to focus funds on other priority areas and he's better than the sort of players that we'd be able to bring in otherwise.

The only blue chip prospect that we have right now at Barça B is injured. The lad is truly something else. He's a right back, he's 18. His name is Grimaldo. He's gonna be one of the best, just like Deulofeu will one of the best wingers in the world.

The other lads are decent, but not Everton quality. Maybe Dos Santos for depth purposes, Cuenca didn't do anything when he went to Ajax on loan. Rafinha is doing great at Celta, he will be back at Barça next season I guess.

Espinosa is really talented, but you have Barkley.

I like Grimaldo, I really do but I don't see the definite top class player others are seeing. Last time I saw him live was a year ago against Sabadell though. Hopefully I am wrong!

Rafinha I really don't think will make it at Barca.

Cuenca would be a superlative addition, tbh...He's not at Ajax but back at the club to rehab his knee injury...Problem is that he's still experiencing some pain and will likely go back under the knife before the end of the year I wager...I'm sure the club wants to find him a loan because there is still faith in his potential...Personally, I think he's a terrific talent but I worry about him staying healthy

Nieto was a terrible purchase by the club when Sanabria was available to be used all along...Now the club stand to lose a bonafide star and we're left with a player who will never get into the first team

If we can develop some of the best players the world has yet to see I am 110% for it. In 5 years I honestly think Geri will be a global name and we can say we watched him start out. Anymore like this lad and why not?

Like the look of Adama and sergi samper. Dennis suarez looked promising in his man city youth days, not seen much of him lately though for barca.

Sergi roberto would be a good loan but hes there or there abouts in the first team now so doubt theyd let him go

We must think that other teams won't be helpfully and friendly without expecting something from us. Barça has many young players that can be useful; that's true; but that kind of things must be deeply considered. Last days here; Catalonia and the rest of Spain; many people are speaking about Roberto's Everton. There are many Barça fans that are interested about some Everton players. One of them is Ross Barkley. Furthermore Barça has a ''tradition'' to catch other little boys from other spanish little clubs with a very disappointing manners; like Real Madrid. I mean; nobody gives without expecting something. We must be very carefully with that kind of things.

I'll be honest here, the main worry i have isn't barca coming sniffing around our youth, lets face it they have the pick of spain in that regards, they arent gonna splash a lot of money on a young english player, theirs no track record to think they will do, what worries me is that they havnt really settled on the long term replacement for pep their i dont think, and the more we are on their radar the more martinez will become on their radar, and thats the one job i think he'd struggle to turn down in footy, and who could blame him, he certainly plays in the barca style, carries himself with a huge amount of dignity and has respect amongst the game, is yound, ambitious and spanish, can see their being stories linking him if he keeps up the current revolution at us
