Just in terms of who they supposedly supported as a kid mate. Think Carragher is a great defender of top quality. A proven and tested international.

Do like Baines though and do think he'll be our first choice left back for many years to come.

You would rather have a red than a blue? Or am i not grasping what you say right.
If your talking ability, then there is only 1 winner and it isnt the kopite

Maybe that came out wrong. What I meant was, that I rather have a 'Red' giving his all for our great club than a supposedly 'big Blue' playing for the [Poor language removed] and behaving like a ******** when talking about 'his Blues'.

That's where he's playing because of injuries.

Hibbert, Jacobsen, Neville, Yobo, Lescott and Jagielka are all fit and Baines is still playing left back.

We could bring Nuno into it but when Nuno was fit Baines played above him.

Yobo is only just back and the player who has replaced him has been playing awesome, got very little to do with Baines.

Oh yeh fair enough, i agree with that. Watson and Reidy give there all for the mighty blues

You said Lescott was our first choice left back though. Surely Moyes would bring Yobo in alongside Jagielka and let Lescott continue his amazing form in his left back position. Just a thought?

Yobo has been on the bench for four games now despite you saying he'd be back against Arsenal.

Baines is playing well, he's in the team on merit and he's first choice.

Similar to Cahill, i wouldnt bring Jo in tomorrow as tim has done a fine job. Moyes hasnt changed it because there settled, be shocked if it stays that way for much longer
