I remember him dismissing this nonsense at the time. Scary how the media can make something up, it gets immediately shot down, but then it becomes the narrative for the rest of time anyway.

If I had to guess it’s probably a similar reason that Pickford doesn’t leave to go more down south or outside the U.K.
