Like I said, if they're the Jags and Distin that have been ace this season... and actually look to play a pass rather than demonstrating projectile physics then yeeah without doubt, play them.

i couldnt watch the game as i had work. did coleman's injury look serious? the way their fullbacks are I think coleman can get a goal in the derby if he is fit

I would play either Alcaraz or stone's next to jags with Baines and Coleman fullback.

For all that Distin has been good, he's always struggled against Suarez, and he'd need to be in good form to stand a chance for me, sadly he isn't in form, for me, if Alcaraz is fit, i'd be starting him. I'm not being kneejerk, but he just doesn't fill me with confidence, at all.

Distin against Liverpool usually makes for horrific viewing, but he's probably a certainty to start.

Massive loss if Coleman is missing, I've high hopes for Stones but it's a huge ask for him to step up in such a big game. Still play him over Hibbert all day long.

Can't be messing around with hamstring injuries though. A strain can turn into a tear very easily
