You’re one badly weird posterDon't forget Youngy was originally a left winger so he could slot in on either wing and at either full back.
Should be first name on teamsheet in any of those positions
Build a team around him

Depends on what you consider ‘big’ I guess. Arsenal were spending £75 million on Pepe years ago.
I get that. Means to an end.
Just want to know when there's a point we scout well and buy someone in who doesn't cost the earth, who's gonna be developed to be 1st choice *insert position
Not buying 38 year olds to "do a job" for 12 months.

Might as well sack off signing a winger then now we've goy 'youngy'Don't forget Youngy was originally a left winger so he could slot in on either wing and at either full back.

He’s going to be better than Mykolenko and is on a free, so it’s not that bad a signing.
The issue is that it’s the first signing and seems like a lazy effort from the recruitment team.
Horrendous isn’t it….Look at the page number we’re on lads.
We also haven’t the luxury of having players cutting teeth in the PL at fullbackBuying someone who may be developed into a first choice isn't a luxury we have. We're skint and the last few years has dictated the priority and focus is unfortunately to stay in the Premier League.
Any money we have after sales needs to be spent on forward players.
Sure, we need a left back because Mykolenko is terrible but it comes down to how much money we can spend.
We had no full backs in the run in at all last season. We need a squad.
