I think the biggest difference is he has Holgate next to him. Say all you want, but having that pace by your side gives you more confidence to step up a bit. He was always worried about getting skinned before.

The big difference is that we are playing with a back 6 and Williams is the free man.

But he's looked a totally different player in the last month so it's only fair he gets praise.

I doubt he's got a long term future here but Williams has looked a player reborn under Allardyce.

Great game tonight. As others have mentioned a different player since Keane has been injured as Holgate has been his partner. Another clean sheet although a n other Woodwork helped a great deal the 12th man.
