Arteta has been stinking the place out for the past few weeks.

It's odd how our playmaker and creative force, to a certain extent our talisman and candidate for spanish national side is playing less like a Xavi and more like a Busquets. When he fails in the latter role, something needs fixing. I'd like to argue for the playing of two defensive mids, (like we did yesterday, arguably - if you see heits as one roaming wrecking ball DM and arteta as the solid holding-the-back-together-type) with pienaar, cahill and coleman in front, ideally rather arteta as one of these and rodders/felli/heits/etc as one of the defensive ones. Man, we could afford some through balls.

Arterta, Torres. Rooney. All had children in the past 18 months or so. All played gash for a good while now. I domt care how much you earn - it affects you. I know billions of people have children, but it stands to reason.

the one who's named after batman said:
well having children is a lifestyle choice, he's made his bed so he will have to lie in it, next to his very fit bird who is no doubt too tired, and now finds the idea of doing it as repulsive and has realised that breasts aren't for his playtime but for feeding the little'un

just to save you the trouble.

Would the club offer him 70k a week for 5 years now?

Unlikely.

He has done well to get that contract off us.

A couple of high profile goals have kept him off most peoples sh*t lists but he has been por most of the season. He is too good to be written off but perhaps needs dropping to the bench for a couple of games. He'll be back.

He was shocking on Sunday. Gave the ball away so often i lost count. It's almost like he has an attitude "I've got my contract so now i dont care" Cause even the fight has gone from his game.
I hope he gets dropped so he has to fight his way back.

i agree wit the part bout him been [Poor language removed] lately but i do find it laughable that a lot on here add 2+2 and get 8......lol

as in when a player has hit a bad patch of form its down to the last contract he just signed yes there is mercenaries in the game but if u were to read these site regularly u would be left wit the feelin we hav them all ??????

those red squiggles when you post do actually mean something

I've heard he's playing through an injury. Also he's been a bit isolated this year with Tim playing further forward and Heitinga very deep.

Yes! The mans been shoite! But have a look around him. Some of the movement off the ball has left him having to play sideways (lack of movement from the forwards, and off the wing)> When Fellers and Rodders start coming from behind (don't we all wish?), and create that extra dimension for him, then we'll see how shoite he really is!

Even God created Mondays!!!!!

The last time his form dropped this bad was when he was carring that injury for months a few years ago. He doesn't look right at all to me, whether it's an injury or he's feeling down or what not.

I agree with artetas sock too though, there is a real lack of movement at the top end of the pitch and that dictates where he can pass to.
