Not expecting much from us for the next couple of games with Pienaar out too.

So, that Twitter account was a blag then - like was said but peeps wouldnt believe.

Can we stop the crap about Rathbone and training methods etc. Sometimes theres no-one to blame but bad luck, and were having lots of it at the moment.

what exactly is 'wash out'?

Just as it says, when I was younger a bit of bone had splintered off and was floating around in the fluid in the joint. Those days the Doc used a big shyringe and flushed the bit of bone from the joint. Painfull but did the job. Suppose things have come along radically since the early 80's.

That all sounds pretty nasty. I would think a bit of bone could only break off after a heavy impact. Wonder what caused Arteta's? He can't have been doing anything that strenuous.

With Arteta sidelined for extra, undetermined time, methinks the January needs shift from a winger to a creative CM. As much as I loath do to it (still going to do it anyway as I'm all looped up from swigging Clorox), time for the Defour/Mout chants to start again - at a low din rising in mid December to frenzied shouting.

How long did you take to recover?

We'll sign a defender or a striker.

Guaranteed.

I reckon if I remember corecctly about 3 - 4 months. Had to take these rather large Pink pills , which I was told would ease the fluid retention? I had to keep going back and every 6 months had this purple dye pumped into my knee so the Doc could see if there was any more bone floating around. All in all it was 2 years later when I eventually got the all clear ...but as I said this was the 80's.

I beleive the docs don't use shrynges now due to the threat of infection ironically enough.
