Its a waiting game for the big money deals. Agents and clubs hold out to squeeze as much as possible out of the buyer. The longer they leave it, the more the clubs will pay up, especially the closer it gets to the start of the season.

Who gives a fook about this feller anyway?

The Arshavin transfer saga will soon overtake the Ronaldo saga.

His agent is gonna screw this up and he'll be a Zenit for another year or he'll go to one of his preferred destinations at a price lower than the prices being bandied about.

Honestly we do still have a chance of signing him, but i think, [Poor language removed] him. First announcing he wants to go to barca, then madrid, hes just trying to get any club he can.

Also his club is annoying, constantly upping the price.

I hope we don't and I wouldn't spend 15-20 million on a unproven 27 year old. I'd rather have Moutinho or Fernandes. Younger, more potential, play in position we need improving and would suit English football more.
