The sad part is, many fans just have no affinity with any of our players anymore (bar Seamus). Not one player except Coleman would be classed as any young kids ‘hero’. Sad state of affairs.

Team selection was dire. More dross from the biggest letdown of players we've had. No spine, no passion from any of them. Sam's not helping himself picking a team like that but the players have let him down again. How many times has that been written in the last 12 months.

So Allardyce blames the players, surprise, surprise! The players could have done better but the real blame lies with Allardyce for his team selection and tactics. To say he is incompetent is being generous.
