Take your pick theres plenty of these unlucky gamesSorry to do this to you all.
This game felt eerily familiar. And it was. man utd 3 - Everton 0. 7th October 2002.

We'd played well that game to.

I felt you like this whole game, we just gassed a bit and the 1st goal ( effectively the winner ) was a goalie error. We played well.
I can't pretend I'm not disappointed with the result, but there's a lot more to come from us.
Its because he dithered too long then the whole system fell apart . If he changes the correct players early enough we potentially win that game on the counter attack.Agree, not expecting a match winner ( esp off our bench )but we basically conceded midfield to them 2nd half.
Garner to the middle, with Patterson to cover in natural RB slot might've helped).
Tyrique might have added pace to counter. Rohl has scarcely kicked a ball all season, that won't have changed after tonight
Harrison off it for the first, albeit not to blame, asking a lot for a 5 yr old to get to the pace of the game Vs Arsenal away, as they're pressing for a goal.
Just weird late subs that added nothing to us and exposed young players.
looks alright on paper but paper doesn't win games. So you think Armstrong is better than Gana and who would play at RB. If it was all so simple we would all be managers. What instructions would you give to each player or would you just say go and enjoy yourselves.
Maybe it happens now and it's 1:1, then what?

Yeah. Bit painful. Creditable and at the same time exposed all our long term flaws! Its because he dithered too long then the whole system fell apart . If he changes the correct players early enough we potentially win that game on the counter attack.
Again though how many times have we been here.
Obvious to see his legs were gone even on tv. One of Moyes biggest annoying traits is ignoring obvious signs. McNeill did well again though. So that’s a plus.Thought McNeil done ok but he was busted after 60 minutes that’s when we needed George
Arguably our best performance this season under the circumstance. Think you're a bit of a wind up. Clearly also never played football or have deep routed tactical understanding.
If you're so anti Moyes who are you bringing in to do a better job with this squad?Yes, Armstrong played as an attacking midfielder in a trio with Garner & KDH is better than Gana in this weird press whenever you feel like role.
I’d play a RB at RB. It’s unfortunate that Patterson is the best available but at least he can play the position without limiting our ability to overlap on the right wing or pull our most important midfielder out of position.
You’re giving these managers too much credit. The only thing separating them from us common folk is they had the good fortune of being in the right place at the right time, and with good relationships with the right people.
Given the same opportunities over the last 30 years I’m certain you’d do a comparable job to Moyes.
