Start with Garner in Midfield.

Bring in Armstrong in for Gueye, and swap his position with KDH.

Bring in George for McNeil and swap wings with Ndiaye.
looks alright on paper but paper doesn't win games. So you think Armstrong is better than Gana and who would play at RB. If it was all so simple we would all be managers. What instructions would you give to each player or would you just say go and enjoy yourselves.

Punch to the down belows at the end, but honestly that was a good performance. Easily could have and should have scored and gotten something today. No shame in that performance. If we play like that against Chelsea we'll get something there.
David Moyes preferred to spend £70 million on Dibling, Aznou and Barry instead of proper football players.

Maybe if we would have spent the money properly we wouldn't be on the end of yet another expected defeat tonight.

Deserved at least a draw but at the end of the day it's another heroic defeat. I've seen far too many of them over the years.
There are ways to lose. This was a good way to lose - with all flags flying. The sad thing is we tend to lose in this very manner far too regularly at Arsenal. In other words, until we have more quality in our side and a more adventurous approach, damage limitation and valiant but futile resistance is as good as it gets.

Over to you, Angus.

We needed to score first half

We got punished heavily for one mistake.

2 nil enormously flatters Arsenal. They are the most boring anti football champions elect I've ever seen but the one thing you have to credit them for is the fact that they wear down opposition into making mistakes. And then they make extremely few mistakes themselves.

I loved Arteta as a player. I respect him as a manager. But he certainly doesn't play football the way I'd expect if my club had spent the astronomical amounts Arsenal have spent.

Our gameplan was fine. Its almost impossible to create a ton of chances against Arsenal with the way they play. Even the game they lost at home to United was due to a world class goal by Cunha from long range.

The issue was we made a mistake right at the end when it matters.

Barry and Beto are the two worst strikes we've ever had. Until we bring in someone who can hold a ball up or make a decent run we will always lose these tight games.
