Fair play - even if it was through gritted teeth.

Personally I think our domination deserved the win. On the back of our results against the "moneyed top 4" we could easily win the league without injuries - but that is where money tells.

Bloody hell, calm down lads.

Top 4 will be a huge effort for us this year. Never mind the title.

I think Arsenal will finish above Everton 10-12 points end of the season. So if the midfield is not better, the striker is not better or the defence is not better. Then one thing is very clear. Everton will finish above Arsenal this season

Don't bite mate.

It was a good game and us Evertonians are now reaping the results of positive and possession football. We haven't seen anything like thsi at Everton for an age. We are making the most of it now because the buzz with us fans is unbelievable.

Hello all, just wanted to say well played on a great performance and a quality game of football. Nobody has put in a performance against us better than that this season and that includes Dortmund.

I've been following your performances since that start of the season and been mightily impressed at the football you've been playing. i was telling fellow Gooners (who were talking about closing the goal difference on M City!!) that 1-0 in this game would be a great result and unfortunately for us we couldn't hold onto the lead but an equalizer was the least you deserved after that performance.

A Grand Old Team you are, my earliest memories of football include you lot fighting the good fight against the evil empire from Anfield in the middle 1980's!

There's no reason why you shouldn't be finishing in CL spots. Your manager & players clearly believe it and now everyone else is starting to too.

All the best for the rest of the season!

Thanks for that

Stick around and post lad, Always good to have other teams fans on here to get different view points

...January transfer window will be a real pivotal time. We have a sound foundation, but the added imputus of a few new players will really help. We failed to do this last time around. Whereas our competitors will send millions, RM will be at a real disadvantage so it'll be very interesting if he can bring in a few gems on the cheap.

Still early days. Who is to say we won't overtake you?

Anything is possible. One thing is clear. This is the best PL has ever been in terms of how many good teams there is in the league. Its honestly no one you can say is clear favourite to win the league. if I was forced to name a team i would say city because of their squad. But they have to sort their away record out as it has been poor for a season and half now

Listen mate why are you engaging him?

You can see from the responses that we all think he's talking out of his arse so just leave him to his drivel

We've got a small, but sound collection of posters from other teams here. Stick around.

Thank you sir for those kind words - we appreciate it -
As Evertonians we are not used to being flattered.
You are more positive than some of our own fans -
Walk well mate

We all?

I think its quite clear everyone knows from today our midfield is better than theirs.

(y) Spot on, can't disagree with one sentence. The comments about the 3-3 draw with RS (where we were imo marginally the better side) is especially pertinent.

Getting a point was a bonus for me as what was more important was making a statement about our intent to take them on at their own game and show the win in midweek wasn't some form of fluke. It was an absolute joy to watch the boys in Blue today. As a few have mentioned I think Jagielka has gone up another level lately and looks immense. Howard has been superb. Ross was fantastic today. Coleman is in superb form, Oviedo quality. Barry was outstanding today and Lukau was tireless as was Pienaar. I've said it before but that 3-3 against the ****e was the absolute catalyst for the players believing in themselves as we dominated them. Let the ****e have there moment in the sun because barring injuries and suspensions we will be right in the mix for top 4 and beyond. Martinez is a ****ing magician and has reinstalled the fire in our belly, US FANS as well as the players to finally dare to dream again.
