Also a ground on which, the season previous, saw him mastermind one in a sequence of incredible wins to keep them up.

Arsenal have never embarrassed Wigan under Martinez as far as I can recall, I will trust Martinez in figuring out ways to stop them and let us play our own game.

Hilariously, been on the Arsenal forums and they've been accusing Martinez of being 'snide' and 'overly physical' whenever his Wigan teams came to the emirates. What a self-important bunch of preening dickheads their fans are, I f**king hate them.

Very clever judging a whole fanbase on a few a forums you've been on.

Guess who is the only manager to win against United then Arsenal in successive games in the Premier League era?

Martinez's Wigan were 'physical' at times, remember they tried to kick us off the park last year at their place 2-2 draw. He certainly doesn't allow his teams to be intimidated by the opposition, maybe it has something to do with how he was treated when he came to play in England. But it is a bit rich for Arsenal fans to call him a 'snide' , considering that one of Arsene Wengers main tactics is to persistently fouls the opposition when they lose the ball in the oppositions half. Or tell lies about the Fabregas incident at the Emirates the other year. Or didn't want to talk about incidents of petulant snideness from Febregas for raking Arteta's achilles in the same game.

We stand more of a chance of winning this game than against a team with 10 men behind the ball defending on their own penalty box. It will be a very open game....obviously they have players of individual quality...Barry is going to have to do a job on Ramsey. But we will have space to play our game, so why not. i'd like more shots from the edge of the box though

Worse Everton teams have given much better Arsenal teams a game at their place in recent times.
Don't get me wrong, we're not the finished article and man for man aren't as strong as them..however, having
just beaten the league champions, our boys certainly won't be intimidated by a team who the majority of the
football world think are unlikely to take the said title themselves come the spring.
Arsenal are on a golden run of form and are favourites..but you won't see a player in blue bending over for them on Sunday,
them days appear to be over.

Good work Chico, stuck to the facts.

Difficult game but with 3000 of us there we will be singing our hearts out and sucking a goal in the clock end.
