Baines would get into any team in the league. I don't think you'll ever be able to say about Gibbs now and or even in the future. Gibbs is very good don't get me wrong, but don't think he'll ever be top class ... like Baines.

You see. That's what irks me a little. Gibbs is already a great player at such a young age. Obviously Baines is better, but he ain't better than him by the margin you think he is.
Gibbs has every bit the chance to surpass him.

He was close to being the most creative player in Europe last year, his defensive game is excellent and he's been doing it pretty much since the age Gibbs is now. I've taken your opinion into account but can't think of a single feature of Gibbs' game, bar his pace, that I would consider as good as or superior to Baines'.

I think Gibbs is the better defender and quite a bit quicker. Everything else is Baines though.

That match last year I thought Wigan were the better team (easily) for the first half of it. Once they got pegged back their heads went down like.

If he can do that with those soon to be relegated Wigan players, he can defo get a performance out of our players.

Gibbs is one of the worst defenders ive seen in this league, hes decent going forward, but whenever i watch arsenal i always think to myself that gibbs is the one you wanna get at to get joy, gets caught out so much
