Thought he was that much of a belter that it could have been his account, apologies. Hope he enjoys trying to win the Turkish Delight cup or whatever.

Well for once we turned up at a big game, certainly there can be no claims of having "bottled it". Thought it was an enthralling game to watch, our defence was superb throughout, especially Coleman and Jags - Jags MoM by a whisker for me.

Barkley took a while to settle in, looked pretty lost in the first 20 minutes never quite knowing how far up the pitch he should be - having said that he finished the 1st half very strongly and was very unlucky with his shot later in the second half

Piennar and Anichebe were under par, thought Piennar should have scored in the 5th minute, everyone else (with the possible exception of Baines) played above or at expectations.

Arsenal as a team carry the characteristics of their manager, technically gifted but ultimately not winners and with a very poor attitude and complete lack of sportsmanship.

If we only finish 6th we did so not by virtue of our performances at Tottenham and Arsenal but rather through the numerous missed opportunities in the second third of the season. If only we had defended then as we appear to be doing consistently now.

Still an enjoyable night, proud of the progress we are making as Blues.

No offense, but if Wenger is not a winner, then what is Moyes?

Since you moved to the Emirates and the spending dried up Arsenal have been as successful as Everton, despite you lot having WAY more money to spend on wages, Champions League football to attract bigger names, and a better squad.

We looked like a very tough and balanced team today. Our CBs doing a solid job, the Fullbacks bombing up and down the pitch, with three different type of CMs who complemented eachother very well, and Mirallas was great.

Thats a first eleven I like, keep Fellaini alongside Gibson, it gives the big Fella the chance to impact the game on both sides of the pitch (today was his best performance in months) and keep Barkley on the field for our remaining games, He looked a little bit off the pace in the first 15 mins or so but he gradually grew into the game and looked like a proper AM by the second half (not bad for a 19 yo on his second start of the season ehh). Anichebe well he worked hard today but he was very isolated. Moyes needs to find a way to play for the strikers, we might not have a striker the caliber of Van Persie but im sure they slot them in if they get the chances.

Overall good performance not so good result. Lets hope we can win all or atleast 4 of our remaining games and that atleast one of Spurs, Arsenal or Chelsea has a terrible run of result till the end of the season.

Good post but spoiled somewhat by this strange comment.

Wenger has won plenty in his time at Arsenal.

I can't see them ever winning a trophy again under Wenger, vault me later on like, but there (and his) attitude has been terrible for a couple of years now, pathetic "hey look at how hard done by we are" attitude. I used to watch Arsenal like my second team because of the style they played, I can't stand them now.

It's been 8 years since they won something too hasn't it?
