You guys are being sensitive now. I dont understand why you get mad on wenger for saying you made it physical, because you did. But physical doesnt mean dirty or over the limit which you didnt. Also you can moan about the ref all you want, but he could and properly should have sent Gibson off. Overall it was an fairly even game which we just about shaded. Draw was a fair result

Based on what? He won the ball in the first tackle and got an unjust booking. The second one was a booking but it only evened out the first cock up by the ref.

Also the most disgraceful thing from last night was Sagna going down clutching his face when the boot was about 10 inches from it, may, possibly have skimmed him arm. Ref then stops the game as we're outnumbered them about 30 yards out.

Stop the crusade!
I've watched the replay and it seems one of his bleached-anal-bead hair-weaves may have gotten in his eyes!
HE COULD HAVE BEEN BLINDED!
It's one thing having hearty tackles but a total shame to see a team like Everton losing their humanity when an opponent could have lost all sight!!!

....I thought our lads died for the cause. Irony is that Jagielka set the 'though shall not pass' tone that Wenger criticises yet he was recently trying to buy him.

I don't.. I'm just not sure what... Does he even realise.. Hypocrisy.. what even is this?!?

Wenger claims he believes rough-house tactics are "a strength of the English game" and admitted he gets bored and turns off foreign games on TV because just about every tackle is deemed a foul.

Wenger even said he had no problem with West Ham striker Andy Carroll's tough display against Manchester United on Wednesday, and believes incidents are over-analysed on TV.

"It is a strength of the English game," he said. "I don't have a problem with players who go in completely 100 per cent, because that is what you want to keep in the English game.

"Sometimes I watch foreign games and after 20 minutes you are bored because every time somebody goes down it is a foul, and you say, 'Come on!' That is not football, as well.

"We do not want to lose the strengths and what makes English football attractive - but the intention of the players has to be fair."

"The physicality of the English game is one of the attractions of it. I don't think it holds players back. In fact, the opposite, the foreign players who come to England improve and you get that aspect of the game as well," said Wenger.

"I've seen so many French players complain about the physicality when they arrived in England. I tell them it will take some time but the intensity of the game will make them better players.

"When you look at some players, you cannot say the physicality of the game stops them from displaying their talent.

"When I brought Pires here he was not especially physical player, but no-one could stop him from playing his game.

"Overmars, Bergkamp - nobody could stop them. You cannot say it's physical or it's kicking, it's just that the commitment is high - and that's what you want."
