Haha sorry for the false info. I badly f*cked up there like.

Someone said it on Twitter... I should know not to believe anything on there!

Vic was back to being ****e. Other than that the team played very well. As I said at HT Barkley, Fellaini and Jags were particularly impressive.

The only proper gripe I have with the game is Moyes' subs. The last two were just utterly pointless and he should've taken Anichebe off not Barkley. Anyone with eyes could see that Anichebe didn't offer us anything the whole game, Barkley on the other hand was class. Hope he starts he rest of the season playing CAM.

Also Arsenal are a bunch of whinging pansies.

While I agree with you on most points, Anichebe had a hard job today. His support was a lot deeper than usual and he was 20 yards isolated a lot of the time. I would have appreciated a little more commitment and a lot less whinging from him, but he did a job probably only Fellaini could better.

Jelavic is not good at contesting the long balls, and his hold up play is not as good as Anichebe's (which was not particularly good today, it has to be said).

Anichebe just cannot deal with Mertesacker. But since we are playing high balls we have no better choice.
Coleman is superb too, just shown his world class defending.
Our another problem is Pienaar, his poor form led to less chances created by Baines.

A fair result. Anichebe should have done better with that shot near the end. He had plenty of time.

Everyone played very well although I worry at Gibson's control sometimes. Pienaar is too easily brushed off as well.

Barkley had two good attempts. He can curl the ball.

items:

-this is the first XI i want to see for the rest of the year - Barkley and Mirallas will be the source of our goals in the last 5 matches, as they're sure as hell not coming from any strikers.
-Fellaini had a very solid if not flashy game at CM. He didn't even get booked!
-our defence seems to finally have gelled. Will be that much easier takign 3 points in upcoming matches knowing we're not necessarily going to concede in the last 10 minutes
-naismith put a decent shift in in the few minutes he was on. That's his role with us, to maintain possession, draw fouls and help kill off games late in matches
-arsenal dropped 2 points, and they will drop more, as will the teams above us
-for all their possession in the 2nd half they hardly troubled our goal
-giroud is not a good striker
-someone remind wilshere to wear football boots and not tennis shoes next match ffs. actually all of them nancies.

I thought Gibson had an excellent game, on the ball especially. A few times he was pressured out and forced a throw or something but I wasn't expecting him to dribble at any point.

It's left a lot of things out of everton's hands that, we are relying on either spurs or arsenal to trip up at least once now.
Unless we win all of our 5 remaining games of course, but I doubt even the epitome of optimism could believe that.

we would have been relying on that anyway even if we won, we would have still been behind them. It's still in our own hands though, especially with our last game of the season against one of those up there with us.

we have to attack the RS like this though, something i reckon we will do, much much better from moyes. attacking sub as well.

the majority of arsenal's fans though, they are either absolutely clueless or just desperate. They were appealing for handballs when it was hitting our defenders' feet and heads. I hate to pay as much money as they do to be hypnotized by their players into thinking it's no longer a contact sport.
