He was never very quick at Wigan either. All of his goals were either tap ins or he'd found a yard of space and finished well. He was one of those players where his goal tally was deceiving.

What he does still have is the ability to make a ball stick, but doesn't have the ability to move freely and find the yards of space he used to do.

Basically, he has exactly the opposite problem that Lukaku often does - who is an incredible, instinctive slotter but most of the time has the ball bounce 10 yards off his toe. It's frustrating because if you could take 80% of Lukaku and 20% of Kone, you'd have the perfect striker.

But as for Kone particularly, despite a good few cameos when he first came back, he looks well and truly done now. I'd be looking to offload in the summer.

Don't see the point in beating around the bush, the fella has been an absolute nightmare of a signing, right from the start when none of the fans wanted him and were gutted to hear us linked to him, through to now when everybody has been proven right regarding his lack of ability. I'll drive him anywhere within Europe just to get him out of the club.
