Two wins on the bounce for Cheese :p

Was just trying to put our little debate into context for that poster. I do actually agree that I'd like us to improve the position...even if that means Kone comes good. I also thought Vic was a sub par option when here, and as I stated, I think Kone is a better option than he was.

What about Jelavic though mate? Him and Vic are really smashing it up for West Brom and Hull. Shocking business by Roberto :P

The answer? Hardly. I'm just a bit tired of folks completely destroying a player who actually has something to offer, and has hardly been able to show it mostly due to fitness.

Can't help with the tiredness. Can help with the "completely destroying".

Kone is the latest "victim" of cynicism. He wants to earn a living; he didn't want to be injured; it wasn't his "fault" he was bought by Everton. As far as I know he's a decent bloke doing the bet he can.

His best, however, is open to comment. My observation is that he's a worker with a few strong points who is unlikely to prove anything other than yet another of the workhorses who fill a space and will lead the club nowhere.

It isn't surprising given the level of hype that R M uses that some supporters get frustrated and, possibly, overreact. That frustration increases when the Ministry of Truth cohort defend the indefensible in various forums.

Kone will eventually score a couple of goals. Doesn't mean he's anything other than cavity wall insulation. Not his fault: just another unit on the production line of mediocrity we've come to specialise in.

I appreciate your effort in your response...and I mean that.

I simply started my posting this evening in response to a post that said he can't score in this league...which is factually incorrect, and got on my tits a bit.

He is struggling to play for 90 mins, he seemsmlike a decent human being and been unlucky with his everton career. We can do better and maybe he should drop down a level and join the championship or help Wigan next season
