Are we stronger than last season?

Definitely stronger for the future, some really promising youngsters brought in.

Weakened by the sale of Lukaku but he was always going and for us would be virtually impossible to replace this window

I think provided the new players gel then long-term(18 months) we'll reap the rewards of a much stronger squad

Well put across mate

I think in the medium term we will be stronger, but I fear we've given away any top 4 hopes by not signing a striker and a left-sided centre half.

Yes why not? We replaced a lot of players with better players.

New striker i january, and im sure they are working on it.

For me no . a lot as well will depend on injuries to key areas losing Baines ,Keane dcl rooney will leave us woefully short in them
areas .think midfield we have enough cover and hopefully bolasie and Seamus come back before the new year will be a boost .there will be surprise teams below us so as it stands between 7th and 10th for me .

Everton gone backwards when many clubs have improved.

I like the buys of Keane and Pickford but that's not enough and the failure to replace Lukaku is quite incredible. I expect Everton to really struggle for goals and be bottom half.

Lukaku was always going to be irreplaceable as a proven Prem goalscorer, unless your thinking we might sign Kane.Any player from any other league would be an expensive gamble.

The squads below us got weaker (except for maybe WBA and Watford). The squads above us either got stronger (RS, Man Utd, City) or didn't lose enough for us to get close in on them (Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs). We are 7th, break out the party bus.

I think the big Miss will be Lukaku, in eveyother area of the pitch we are stronger, the hope is that between, Rooney, Sandro, DCL, Klassen and Sigurdsson, we will find a way to score the goals that Lukaku used to get on his own. I think it's possible, it's just gonna be tough
