Compared to United and the RS, everybody is small, in terms of worldwide fanbase.

Chelsea are picking up fans at a good rate tho.

Arse are global too. The Euro clubs are too.

But our fan base is small compared to the big clubs isn't it ?

Compared to the top 4/5 yes, but them clubs tend to have alot of 'glory hunting' support - if we were to start challenging for trophies year in year out then our fan base would increase, in the same manner that City's & Chelsea's have since they came into money. In terms of our core fan base (i.e. match going fans & local support) id say our fan base is a decent size

It's a hard thing to measure.

I also think there's a distinction between real fan base and glory hunting fans.

You look at the amount of new City supporters have popped up in the last few seasons, same since Spurs have started finishing top 6.

Some yes. But some are just quietly in background needing something to awaken them. Not sure how many sleeping fans we have though

Hard to measure - the clubs Facebook page has over 200k followers though & I think the GOT one has over 100k
