QPR away, March ’95. Hinchcliffe curls in a last minute free kick to win the game 3-2. Cue chants on the way out of ‘One Andy Hinchcliffe, there’s only one Andy Hinchcliffe…’ A lad is spotted down the stairs with Hinchcliffe on the back of his shirt…….’Two Andy Hinchcliffes, there’s only two Andy Hinchcliffes…..’ Quality!

My Lad had Bilyaletdinov -7 on his, Bily also signed it 4 him on his birthday. It was when my daughter was Toffee Lady so cos it was the lads b'day they took him down to the dressing rooms as well to get his shirt signed by everyone, Bily signed it on the 7 and had his pic took with him after saying Have Guud Day.

Then the lad said "I think he might be from a different country Dad."

Rhino 4, Ferguson 9 (Both left while the shirts were still current) and Nyarko... didn't bother after that. This thread has made me realise that I'm not alone in my awful/unlucky choices of names on shirts.

No, the only time I almost did was summer 2011, nearly got Arteta, in fact it was only thinking I'll wait and check the size in the shop next time I go up that stopped me buying it. Took it as a sign to never get one with a name on.

I've got. BIG BAD JEFF.
69 on mine
