He's not worth that, but obviously it'll be the minimum he's on.

I wouldn't be shocked if any new contract had some sort of clause in it for CL clubs if they start showing interest in him, but id hope any wage increase is nothing mad like the previously reported £100k per week.

We all know what will happen - Gordon and Iwobi will sign circa 100k a week 5 yr deals, Lampard will get punted, new manager comes in and either doesn't rate/play them or they struggle under said new manager.

I expect him to be getting offered in excess of £50k p/w. Grey, Iwobi, Doucoure, Onana, Gueye, Maupey will all be on at least that, and it’s highly likely Davies, Garner, McNeil won’t be far off either. He starts most games, is likely worth at least £20m so wouldn’t be hugely surprised if he’s being offered £75k.

I just don't get the fascination with keeping the lad. If we could get £40-45m for him it could change everything. Is not like we're tearing it up with him currently.
