Not sure West Ham would've been looking to replace Brady. Likewise Arsenal seem to have long tenured CEOs.It’s most likely true he’s moved to “lower” clubs for better roles. Very normal. Slight concern though that the higher level clubs he has worked for didn’t see his potential and tie him down to avoid future disruption. Could have easily thrown another couple of hundred grand a year at him to make him part of succession planning, if he was clearly talented.
I wouldn’t necessarily draw a line saying they HAVE to have worked at a PL club. And certainly wouldn’t aim so narrow as to say they HAVE to have worked at a PL club that has moved grounds. A interesting short term bonus maybe (although all contracts for running BMD will already be in place), but a billion miles from being a pre-requisite.
You got the text for this mate? Behind a paywall.I saying he’s one candidate amongst a few.
It’s a high profile appointment.

Everton close in on ‘well-known’ chief exec and target huge summer of transfers
Leeds United's Angus Kinnear is one of the front-runners but there are other optionsinews.co.uk
I think Kinnear would have been at Arsenal during their stadium move and naming rights, other sponsorship deals etc as head of Marketing.Mark Douglas piece suggesting that they want CEO in place in a matter of weeks and to be involved in decisions concerning stadium naming and Thelwell contract.
Bit surprised about the stadium naming if correct. I would have thought that would have been well down the line already under TFG oversight and delays related only to uncertainty over our PL status which is now all but resolved.
I'd expect an appointment by April though and that will be good news. Douglas seems to be relatively clued in under the new regime.
Is Prentice still employed by the club in a comms capacity?Anything and I mean anything is an improvement on Baxendale and her clan including Dave Prentice who magically appeared on BBC Sounds yesterday.
Comms SME who has preceded over the worst communications in the club's long history.
Seem to remember them getting a new social media guy in relatively recently. Things seem to have improved since then.Is Prentice still employed by the club in a comms capacity?
The social media / YouTube material the club release on matchdays as well as that for stadium are top drawer. Not sure if we outsource some to all of that but it’s excellent.
Hes still the director of comms which is a PR role. He's obviously not sitting there editing YouTube videosIs Prentice still employed by the club in a comms capacity?
