Angus Kinnear

You see if I was defending him ...( I'm not)...you could argue , somewhat semantically, that @Jebus_lives take on this is correct.

He used the phrase " can legitimately challenge" which given that the train crash that was Moshiri's ownership at that time was probably correct.

If he had used the phrase " could challenge " then yes he is ignoring the possibility of a change of ownership at Everton and our potential.

Regardless , he comes across as a toady, ignorant individual and I'm convinced that we could do far better.
Appreciate you are not defending him but I believe that is a generous interpretation. He mentions Leeds in and they’re in the championship. I personally don’t want him if he is that ignorant to what Everton had achieved. Even then the new stadium was nearing completion and it was clear there would soon be a change of ownership but he still ranked those three ahead of us which is purely ridiculous but it’s out there now and he can’t take it back.

I’m still convinced the end goal of many clubs is a super league.
Potentially What code he is speaking there is that villa, Newcastle and leeds are big enough clubs in big enough cities to support a European league side.
The RS would cast a dark shadow over us if it ever came to that.
Would probably enjoy a domestic league more to be honest

Aberdeen Angus must have had a good interview. He must be better than our last 2 CEO's surely?

Suppose a snide CEO is better working for us than against us. Like he did at Leeds.

"Leeds United have usually been cautious about providing Daniel Farke with reinforcements in transfer windows under Angus Kinnear. The Whites’ sporting director has rarely made quick moves to sign players when needed and has the habit of leaving things until late in the window."

Him + Dithering Davie. What a combination.

Good times.

He wont be involved with transfers though will he?

That quote makes no sense though because Angus Kinnear is not Leeds' sporting director.
