‘Kin Kinnear
It's not just paper talk, mate of mine knows him well and says he's been in contact with the friedkin group for months about some sort of role with us.FWIW I knew his Dad Alan, who was an audit partner at PWC. Daddy was a dour, humourless, Kirk Scot but competent, hard working and honest. Leeds fans do not rate him but fans rarely love club CEOs who put up prices and do unpopular but lucrative sponsorship deals. Angus’ communications with fans and media at Leeds have a definite David Brent whiff (there are YouTube videos if you are sad enough to check them out).
Given his history trying to shaft us I personally think hiring him would be a significant misjudgement as he’d be carrying so much baggage from day one. Hopefully it is just paper talk as we’ve been previously linked to guys from Brighton, Fulham, Brentford just from memory.
Poor fella is still juggling the news that Dyche is favourite for the Rangers job…. His head is about to fall off I reckonWhat do you make of this @davek
Kinnear joins Leeds …having spent the last three years at West Ham during the Hammers' move from Upton Park to the Olympic Stadium.I've never heard of him.
WTF has he accomplished?
Wonder how long he'd spend here?Kinnear joins Leeds …having spent the last three years at West Ham during the Hammers' move from Upton Park to the Olympic Stadium.
Prior to his spell at West Ham, Kinnear spent a decade at Arsenal as the Gunners' Director of Marketing, Sales and Partnerships.
We might get ‘till Christmas out of himWonder how long he'd spend here?
At least I can see the thinking behind it
He’s been around the commercial side of two stadium moves
