Angus Kinnear

What do you make of this @davek

FWIW I knew his Dad Alan, who was an audit partner at PWC. Daddy was a dour, humourless, Kirk Scot but competent, hard working and honest. Leeds fans do not rate him but fans rarely love club CEOs who put up prices and do unpopular but lucrative sponsorship deals. Angus’ communications with fans and media at Leeds have a definite David Brent whiff (there are YouTube videos if you are sad enough to check them out).

Given his history trying to shaft us I personally think hiring him would be a significant misjudgement as he’d be carrying so much baggage from day one. Hopefully it is just paper talk as we’ve been previously linked to guys from Brighton, Fulham, Brentford just from memory.
It's not just paper talk, mate of mine knows him well and says he's been in contact with the friedkin group for months about some sort of role with us.

I've never heard of him.

WTF has he accomplished?
Kinnear joins Leeds …having spent the last three years at West Ham during the Hammers' move from Upton Park to the Olympic Stadium.

Prior to his spell at West Ham, Kinnear spent a decade at Arsenal as the Gunners' Director of Marketing, Sales and Partnerships.

Wonder how long he'd spend here?

I think he might be good for Everton . He came into the bar at Burnley Cricket Club the other week . He stood in with the Leeds fans , in the away end. I think he's very risk averse regarding finance. When I watched the Kalvin Phillips documentary he seemed to be happy cashing in on him . The £45 million fee might have been a carrot. I think 49ers will probably be looking at their own staff in house, also they are looking at owning Glasgow Rangers. Hope you stay up and we play you 1st game of season at your new ground. (If we go up)
