Even in the Championship they managed to do the Red Bull deal which given Leeds context is really massive.
We need a bit of all the above when we are looking at naming rights, main shirt sponsors and ongoing commercial and kit deals in the future.
As for Kinnear its very hard to think that CEO wasn't a key figure in all of the above.
Was just reading Paddy Boyland’s Athletic article and he made a similar point:
During his time with Leeds, Kinnear was credited with helping increase attendances and drive commercial revenues. The switch to Adidas as kit manufacturer under his watch was particularly lucrative and the club ended up with the eighth-highest commercial revenue during their three seasons back in the Premier League before they were relegated two years ago.
8th highest revenues in the Premier League is some going for a newly-promoted side.
