And progress. Was going to say in another thread we'll see a Mark Douglas in the I Paper article drop soon about the plans this summer.
It'll mention building on stability.

If we can afford Dinosaur Daves extortionate salary we can definitely afford better. Not everything in the world is a conspiracy mate...
The club is still coming out of FFP issues and 3 near relegations. We can't afford or attract the best Manager, CEO or players yet, no matter how easy it is in Football Manager.
All is not lost lads.. just need:
Spurs to get a result at Chelsea.
Chelsea to draw at Sunderland
Fulham to draw with Newcastle
Liverpool to beat Brenford by a few
And us to beat Spurs..
And we qualify for Europe..
Now in true Everton tradition of not being able to walk through an open door, I expect all of the above to happen.. with the exception of the last one.
I genuinely don’t think they will have even considered changing manager tbh. I’m not convinced of their ambition at all.The more time that goes by the more I find the idea funny that everything is set in stone due to Kinnears comments before the game.
Since when did the word of football CEO's and board members and owners mean anything at all? How many times at Everton (and other clubs) has a manager been given 'full backing' of the owner and board only to be sacked a week or two later?
The idea that this is a foregone conclusion is laughable.
I don't think anyone has any idea what the real head honchos are thinking and tbh I think thats exactly how they want it.I genuinely don’t think they will have even considered changing manager tbh. I’m not convinced of their ambition at all.
We all have our ways of coping, whatever works for you.The more time that goes by the more I find the idea funny that everything is set in stone due to Kinnears comments before the game.

Remember Roma fans telling us when takeover was happening - You won't see a lot of them, and the only times you do it will be because they're showing up to sack someone.
Look, I know I could be way far of the mark but I don't think anyone actually has any idea really and truly. We all have our ways of coping, whatever works for you.
Can we just get David Weir as our CEO instead... Seems an easier bet. A much more trustworthy guy.
