Got him for free and made us almost 10M - that's my kind of transfer! He was honest but bang average. Still better than iwobi.
Still crap. If we had 11 players of Naismith standard in the team we would be relegated by Christmas. They'd all try really hard and be lovely fellas, still relegated.Naismith: Cost 0. 122 appearances and 25 goals over 3½ years. Brought in 9.5 million in fees to the club.
On fifa career mode ha haGot him for free and made us almost 10M - that's my kind of transfer!
You need guys like Naismith in a squad. A hard-worker who would pop up with big goals in big games.Still crap. If we had 11 players of Naismith standard in the team we would be relegated by Christmas. They'd all try really hard and be lovely fellas, still relegated.
Every free transfer is good value if they contribute just about anything.Naismith was excellent value for money, and always put in a great shift.
Depends on wages. But Naismith was a rare gem - a player who actually made us some coin!Every free transfer is good value if they contribute just about anything.
Man City seem to be doing alright without a Naismithesque player. I mean KDB has a similar complexion but that's about it.You need guys like Naismith in a squad. A hard-worker who would pop up with big goals in big games.
Aye, because you can compare us with Man City. That said, peak Man Utd had John O'Shea!Man City seem to be doing alright without a Naismithesque player. I mean KDB has a similar complexion but that's about it.

That's not because he was useful. I mean I do think cheap deals like that are worthwhile but I'd put Naismith as one that didn't really work. But Townsend is significantly later in his career so it's hardly the same. Gray is closer to that.Depends on wages. But Naismith was a rare gem - a player who actually made us some coin!
