Will be like Pirlo in the championship
Honestly think he’d look out of his depth, would get absolutely bullied by the grocks down there. Hopefully we never get to find out because he’s been booted out the club either way.

Spot on!!,Honestly think he’d look out of his depth, would get absolutely bullied by the grocks down there. Hopefully we never get to find out because he’s been booted out the club either way.
I think the biggest lesson is, we need to look more in-depth into a players mental health. Gomes is a prime example of us not taking this seriously and thinking we can fix a player. This lesson has taught us never to sign players that are immobile and cant tackle.
Compare our best two wide players like Gordon and Richarlison with this central midfielder.
Night and day for effort and energy.
Better players than given credit for. Truth is the leg break decimated his confidence
And I'm gutted about it. Son ruined him the rat.But we can't live in the past, and he's currently one of the worst players to ever play for us.
The same players that have us in a relegation scrap whilst earning a very very inflated wage? I'm all for it.He's a luxury player...on a good team he would absolutely an asset retaining possession and unlocking packed defenses.
The criticisms of his mobility are totally on point, but quite honestly I dont think it is quite fair to criticize someone for God-given ability or lack thereof.
On our team, which struggles week-in week out, he is not a good fit. If you go back a few years when we had Gana, he could do the hard work winning the ball back, and Andre would be freer in his role.
I am totally against the venom being directed against a number of our players. It is good to hold players accountable for lack of effort or commitment, but I don't believe that to be the case here. Let us not forget the horrific injury he suffered in service to Everton
I just spent a few moments trying to think who I would go into battle with from recent everton squads and came up largely empty. Gareth Barry came to mind, but he isn't really everton is he? I had to go back to Tim cahill. He is the poster child of everything wrong with Everton the last five years at least. On paper he has a lot of talent that can help us, but the last guy on earth you want to go into battle with
He’s the last thing we need these last five games
