not sure if discussed in other threads but he too seems finished under Benitez right ? along with James and maybe youknowwho our Nr 10. If this high intensity game Benitez want to play no way will Gomes be able to fit in. Same reason Benitez clearly doesnt want Rodriquez and am not sure it will suit our nr 10 very much

Agreed. I was thinking that Gomes will be funding the Anguissa type move

For the passed ten years we have been picking atleast 2 players every week that are glaringly not good enough and leave you scratching your head. Millions upon millions to multiple managers to make these decisions.

We need to look to move him on. If we want fast paced football we need athletic players and he is one of the slowest and least aggressive in the league.

For the passed ten years we have been picking atleast 2 players every week that are glaringly not good enough and leave you scratching your head. Millions upon millions to multiple managers to make these decisions.

It is maddening. The whole stadium knows they are not good enough, but still our managers have picked them, for ears and years as you say.
Maybe Benitez is the one to change that.
