Maybe whoever deemed him good enough and paid money for him will be justified, or maybe not. I would hate to add him to the list of 7 or 8 terrible signings which are down to some overpaid incompetent gbshoite(s).

I must be honest i was worried after he came on. Sigurdsson did a great job tracking Kante everywhere. Gomes couldn't seem to be able to track him in those few minutes on the pitch. Gomes should go and play in a league where his lack of pace is less obvious

I thought he done well tbf mate. There were 4 occasion when he came on that 4 weeks ago he wouldn't have broken into a jog to get the ball back. Last night he done two great fouls so we could get back in positon and the other couple of times he stuck with his man

He done a decent little job when he came on imo.

Gomes came on kept posession, drew some fouls, played with some real class and for looked like the best player on the pitch. It’s funny how we see different things.
