He started really poorly and gave a few simple passes away, but put in a good ball for the disallowed goal and was more effective when he started roaming a bit more after bernard came onto the left. And maybe our defence was horrendous as there was a gaping hole in front of them?
Unreal how he just can't string a run of games together where we could say he gets marked 8, 8, 7, 7, 7 ,8 etc. Its been 6, 6, 4, 5, then the 8, 7 and we think he's back on track to then come up with a 4.

We've got people in the Davies thread saying exactly the same. Simple fact is that they're all not good enough. It was a sorry showing from a very poor midfield that was dominated by a relegation bound team.

He isn't consistent enough or physical enough
Not by any yardstick was he good nevermind our best player.
The game lasts for nearly 100 minutes. Three or four good touches in that time is not nearly good enough.
He just disappears in midfield, jogs around and makes no impact.
He can play in a team that is playing well but unfortunately in my opinion he is a liability too often

He isn't athletic enough for the premierleague. He's possibly, along with Charlie Adam, one of the slowest players I've witnessed.

He started the season with Allan and Doucoure but he is just floating about with no purpose.
He doesn't score or he isn't a tackler but he is a confidence player if he isn't on it, it's shows.
His Valencia form is the gamble we bought him on but he isn't near those levels. His injury has set him back but there is no denying he lets games pass him by without a sweat.
He is a big earner and he has huge question mark on his Everton future.
