Ultimately when you're a midfielder who is a liability in your teams defensive third and a nothing in the attacking third you've got to be a high, high level player in the middle to be worthwhile. Andre isn't. Yes he's got the ability to play the occasional world class pass or to make a run after turning someone but that has to be his constant level or the other stuff not being at a decent level becomes a fatal flaw.

And Molby played in an era when you could have a player jog about spraying passes. Gomes doesn’t. It’s why Tom Huddlestone couldn’t get a game in the Prem.

Couple of decent games back to normal.
I am just getting over covid and I seem to have more energy than this fella , needs to go alongside a few others if we are to move forward, all the keepers, Coleman, siggy, Bernard , Delph and a few others as well all a waste of space these days , hurts a bit putting Coleman in that list as at least he was a very good player for us, age and injury have caught up with him.

Can't play in games where teams press him. He wasn't the only one to have a stinker yesterday but as many have mentioned, cannot play in the same XI as Sigurdsson.

Tom Huddlestone would be an improvement at least for forward passes.

Almost the whole team were poor dont see how we can pick on individuals. First half he was absolutely awful but as the game went on got better. Hard to look good when the team is overrun and the forwards barely moved for passes. Through balls for the lightning quick Gylfie were at a premium.
