What is his job in the team? Looks a complete passenger. Game just passes him by, seems oblivious to what’s going on around him on and off the ball. Completely slows our play down.

Honestly some people have seemingly got amnesia about his performances pre injury. There were more games like that than the Anfield performance. On his day he’s really good, but you can count those days on one hand.

I think I liked the idea of him more than the actual player we got. He’s had about 5 7/10 games for us and that’s about it

Looks so disinterested atm. He passes sideways or backwards as much as anyone - seems a distant memory of him spraying balls left, right and centre and dribbling with it. That injury has had a proper bad impact, as expected I suppose. Hopefully some sort of break at the end of the Season will help him.

A good midfielder would have controlled that second half. Spurs had no desire to have the ball and were just trying to hold on. I thought he was worse than the rest tbh.
