in mitigation of that sloppiness, he has been at Everton for 7 months...

It's his first season, in the English game. It can take a year to properly get used to the pace. Worth signing is he is available, for a decent price.

He's fine with the ball, my problem is that if you are going to be slow, you BETTER make up for it by positioning yourself well. An interception or two would be nice. He can transition to offense well once he gets it, but I think we can do better.

He's fine with the ball, my problem is that if you are going to be slow, you BETTER make up for it by positioning yourself well. An interception or two would be nice. He can transition to offense well once he gets it, but I think we can do better.

He should run faster, tackle more, physically more imposing, track more, win the ball more often and making himself very difficult to beat in one on one physical situation.

In short he is too easily bypass when defending and too easily shove off the ball when in possession. That’s what stopping him from being a TOP player.
